核桃殼概述：
核桃殼是一種經脫脂、破碎、篩選等處理加工過的顆粒狀，表面多微孔、吸附效果較好的濾料及拋光磨料。核桃殼是一種天然的滾光材料、用它做磨料不會破壞工件表面、拋光效果好等優點，（一）抗壓能力強粒徑為1.25-1.60mm的核桃殼粒，平均抗壓極限為0.2295KN(23.40kgf)。粒徑為0.80-1.00mm的核桃殼粒，平均抗壓極限為0.165KN(16.84kgf)。（二）化學性質穩定，不含有毒物質，在酸、堿、水中溶解量很小，核桃殼在鹽酸溶液中的損耗為4.99%,在氫氧化鈉溶液中的損耗率為3.8%，不會引起水質惡化現象。
核桃殼主要市場：
1.以上產品廣泛應用于油田、化工、制革等工業污水處理及城市給水排水工程，是各種過濾器最理想的水質凈化過濾材料。　　
2.拋光材料主要應用與眼鏡配件、珍珠首飾、紐扣、電子件、沖壓件、等行業的拋光去毛刺。
核桃殼用途分類：
一、[成孔材料] 核桃殼粒生產陶瓷結合劑氣孔砂輪成孔材料--核桃殼粒。該產品與以往的成孔材料--精萘相比，具有氣孔均勻、無氣味、無污染，使用方便，價格便宜，對使用員工的身體無損還，安全。而且，對砂輪氣孔大小可以任意選擇。因此，在國外60年代磨料磨具行業中已被廣泛采用。
堆積密度：16#--36#  0.85±0.05g/cm；46#--80#  0.80±0.05g/cm
粒度：
16#--36#  16#篩上物為0，36#篩下物≤4%；46#--80#  46#篩上物為0，80#篩下物≤2%
色澤：黃棕色顆粒 產品規格: 8#、10、12、14、16、20、24、30、36、46、60、80、100、120#，另外規格可按使用企業需求制作。
二、[拋光材料] 核桃殼經特殊工藝加工而成的該類拋光材料，具有優良的耐磨性能，均勻的粒度，特高的殼含量。理化性能指標：比重1.28；硬度2.5-3.0MOH；酸度3—6PH；殼含量90.90%；仁含量0.4%；水份含量8.7%
