產品特點及用途 氧化鋁
 
氧化鋁，化學符號：Al2O3  、分子量102，純凈氧化鋁是白色無定形粉末，俗稱礬土，密度3.9-4.0g/cm3，熔點2050℃、沸點2980℃，不溶于水，為兩性氧化物，能溶于無機酸和堿性溶液中，有四種同素異構體β－氧化鋁δ－氧化鋁v－氧化鋁a－氧化鋁 ，主要有α型和γ型兩種變體，工業上可從鋁土礦中提取。
 
   在α型氧化鋁的晶格中，氧離子為六方緊密堆積，Al3+對稱地分布在氧離子圍成的八面體配位中心，晶格能很大，故熔點、沸點很高。α型氧化鋁不溶于水和酸，工業上也稱鋁氧，是制金屬鋁的基本原料；也用于制各種耐火磚、耐火坩堝、耐火管、耐高溫實驗儀器；還可作研磨劑、阻燃劑、填充料等；高純的α型氧化鋁還是生產人造剛玉、人造紅寶石和藍寶石的原料；還用于生產現代大規模集成電路的板基。
 
   γ型氧化鋁是氫氧化鋁在140-150℃的低溫環境下脫水制得，工業上也叫活性氧化鋁、鋁膠。其結構中氧離子近似為立方面心緊密堆積，Al3+不規則地分布在由氧離子圍成的八面體和四面體空隙之中。γ型氧化鋁不溶于水，能溶于強酸或強堿溶液，將它加熱至1200℃就全部轉化為α型氧化鋁。γ型氧化鋁是一種多孔性物質，每克的內表面積高達數百平方米，活性高吸附能力強。工業品常為無色或微帶粉紅的圓柱型顆粒，耐壓性好。在石油煉制和石油化工中是常用的吸附劑、催化劑和催化劑載體；在工業上是變壓器油、透平油的脫酸劑，還用于色層分析；在實驗室是中性強干燥劑，其干燥能力不亞于五氧化二磷，使用后在175℃以下加熱6-8h還能再生重復使用。
 
   目前世界上用拜耳法生產的氧化鋁要占到總產量的90％以上，氧化鋁大部分用于制金屬鋁，用作其它用途的不到10％

Gamma alumina is aluminum hydroxide in the dehydration system of 140-150 ℃ low temperature environment, industry also called activated alumina, aluminium glue.
